The drawing mood is set on robots …. just too tired for a detailed tangle.

"Tree of Life" ink pen and coloring pencil on paper

That’s it! It’s finished, took me awhile and I think I could have done a better job but I’m happy with it.

A few lines became a robot … not a happy one at that. But then I drew him during a group meeting at work, it’s like he’s telling me to ficus :p
I thinks he’s kinda cute.

A quick drawing/sketch I did this morning before going to work. Partly to try out my new white pencil, partly because this idea has been haunting me for a while (though now I have ideas how to make it better ….)

"Tree of life"

I’d like to say it’s finished but it feels like something is missing so still a work in progress for now ….

Jon Carling. “Bird Ark” “Kraken Too” “Kraken” “Bird Carriage” “The Scarebat”.

Jon Carling caught my eye right when I saw his work on my dashboard from my other blog. His drawings remind me of Tim Burton’s work, which, as stated in one of my earlier posts, is one of my favorite illustrators. Carling has really cool content and a creative mind.

Here is Carling’s website, which has a gallery, blogs, and lovely drawings to purchase as well. His etsy has some cool button designs as well (joncarling).

Progress on the customization of the table.

A friend remarked that she feels like driving toy cars along the “stripes”, and now I look at it and see little potential stories for kids to imagine / play on. Liking it :)
